Take heart...remember that the books were out for appx. 50 years before they made movies, and people were obsessed then. So you will find something to look forward to... maybe another volume of HoME. Or, for all you Elvish lovers, more vocab/grammar. (Come on Chris, we need more info!) I personally wouldn't mind a Hobbit movie, but the Silmarillion would have to be a series, w/tons of stuff from HoME thrown in. Can you imagine cramming a book spanning thousands of years and containing very little dialogue into a 3-hr movie?
