What always cracks me up is in TTT when the fellowship walks into the Golden Hall. Gandalf uses hs staff as a walking stick and Legolas holds his arm.LOL! It's as if hes(Gandalf) a frgile old man(well tahts tyhe point). It also looks like Legolas is so proud to hold his arm. You see Legolas is a good actor (not talking about Orli...even though he is).
