Being in gainful employment, and my mother being a pensioner, I buy them myself.But I buy the theatrical version because:1. I don't own a DVD player, and2. I don't fancy watching a wide screen video on a normal size TV screen!One day, when I get a DVD player, I will then buy the Extended DVDs, cos my video versions will be worn out by then anyway! Just as a matter of interest, and I know that this is probably not the right place to ask this, but has anybody else noticed that when "Gandalf the White" is going to see Theoden in Rohan, in the close up scenes he is linking Legolas, and then in the long shots he isn't, and then it goes back to the close ups where he is linking him again!!!
