Who's your favorite Hobbit character and why ?

When I was first reading the books, I was really struck by how much his thoughts mirrored my own; he always seemed to say exactly what I would have in that situation. What most people *ahem* mistake for blatant stupidity is just a lack of experience; Pip is very smart in his own right, just a little naive. His development through the story shows how, though he grows in experience, he still retains his relaxed sort of personality (see "The Grey Havens").<P>So far in the Movies, I have thoroughly approved of the portrayal of Pippin.
