Kalimac has just left Hobbiton.
1420!

Neat - I'll look forward to seeing that. (Like a lot of other people here, Narnia was sort of my fantasy training-wheel set - once my parents had finished reading me the Chronicles, it was time to move on to the Hobbit and LOTR). I'm sure the effects will be magnificent; the combination of real animals/CGI/puppets is frighteningly deceptive. (Anyone remember "Babe"? Apparently half the time they were using puppets. Darned if I could tell the difference). That's just a wild guess as to how they'd do it, but it seems like a practical one to me.
And oh yes, a stuffed Aslan with detachable mane would be a bit on the tasteless side. A toy Stone Knife would be really unforgivable, though. (To be honest, though, I'd probably go for some Experiment House letterhead. Am I the only one who thought that was a brilliant name for a school? Of course, I absolutely hated my own junior high).
[ 1:07 AM December 06, 2003: Message edited by: Kalimac ]
