"Battle Fetish"! Good call! I liked the clearer view of Faramir's boys kicking and beating Smeagol. They could have showed even more for my money, it underscores the return of Gollum, and Gollum's desire for revenge, on the hobbits. I can't remember exactly how that is dealt with in the book.
