This thread may well turn into a listing of all the actors and actresses involved in the <I>Lord of the Rings</I>, since for the most part they all did such an excellent job and since the ones who didn't do quite as well will still be recognized by the many fans of the characters from the book that they portray (or because they are young, good-looking blond men ). Of course Andy Serkis as Smeagol deserves tons of credit, which I should have mentioned in my first post. He acted and looked almost exactly like how I imagined the old rascal.
