I would just like to point out Iris Alantiel that with the character Eowyn the writers have lot more work with than with Arwen. Even in the appendices you don't learn much about Arwen's character other than that she is the most beautiful elf since Luthien and that she dearly loves Aragorn.<BR>However Eowyn is an important character in the book.
