Hi, jsut had a very quick glance and noticed the bit about not imitating Tokien - it's hard not to! He seems to have preempeted everything I want to write about!
Case in point, in order to avoid imitating I name my High-Elven-like society the Golden Elves. Due to certain wars, they are forced out of their homes and have to live in the forests with their silvan kindred - so when Golden Elves (so named so as not to rip-off High Elves) move in with the Wood Elves, we get a Golden Wood.
