Excellent work Heren (and everyone else, of course). I'd completely forgotten about this thread...

From flowering vales he rode
Onward to Minas Tirith
Realizing not he'd n'er return.
Long shall he be remembered,
Old and brave as he was.
Never giving up, he fought 'til death, before the
Gates of the City of Stone.

Not my best work, but it's attempt Number 3 and I kind of like it.
