Horse Races (but don't get me started on the fact that its not really a sport)

Javelin throw. Try and get it into the chest of the Haradrim on a weaving oliphaunt a hundred meters above you while on a horse in the middle of a battle!

How about the Shire? For the Hobbits we might need to expand the agenda a bit.

We could have a pie-eating contest, a bit of cricket on the Green, dart-tossing in the pub, golf played with special orc-heads, and perhaps a special competition one evening at the Green Dragon to see who could tell the biggest "fish" story.....

Okay, i'm going to be a little old-fashioned in this, i'll try to keep this as greek orientated as much as i can. Don't ask i just love and live for history...

Hunting events:

Hounds of Saurman ( Basically, just like the greeks performed a reanactment of the Calydonian Boar hunt, but with the hounds of Saurman... See how many you can catch!)

Races:

The Red Arrow Marathon ( Like that famous mortal runner who alerted the Athenians that they had won the war against Sparta, See how fast you can make it! {The Ka is not responsible for any runners who may, in the cause of this event die of exhastion to be the first one there. Don't say i didn't warn you...}

Self-Control (New):

The Three Rings. ( Don't be like Atalanta and let yourself be won over by a slow man and his three golden apples, See how your speed, swiftness and self-control get you first to the finish line.) Just like the one ring these rings are garenteed to imploy the greatest amount of greed upon any runner... See if you can resist! {The Ka is not responsible for any runners who find their head on their once possible-father-in-law's city gate. Nor, is the ka resonposible for any marriages won over by a race, a love goddess and a girl raised by bears... Also for a final note, when racing, a man and hobbit will not be placed against each other... ( We certainly don't want another insident from Boromir.)

Golf played with special orc heads? Hmmm. That reminds me of Alice in Wonderland when she played cricket with the Queen of Hearts... Maybe we could have them play cricket with orc heads for balls, and flamingos for bats.... or we could have the flamingos be replaced with miniature Gandalf-looking staffs... Wow.I'm bored...

Hanging in the heart of Mount Doom (longest time gets most points [wins])). One-handed hanging doubles your points!

The Peg-Pounding Event (How quickly can you bang all the pegs in the Party Field into the ground?)

The Beacon of Gondor Climb (How quickly can you climb to the top, light the beacon, & make it back down?)

Marksmanship

Rocks- Hit the stuffed Gollum in the head & win!

Rocks- How many Uruk-Hai can you hit in 1 minute?

Apples- Hit the stuffed Pippin in the head & win!

Rings- Throw the Ring in the tiny Lava Lake & win!

Kicking- Take turns kicking Gamling's beer over-whoever gets him the wettest wins!

I could think of a few marksmanship competitions involing Gimli & a few Uruk-Hai, but I don't think I'll include those
