I had that happened to me too a few times! I'd like to add that this thing also happens when you got more than one page opened on the Downs. For intance - you got a page opened on the Quotes forum, another checking the Quiz, the third looking at ME Mirth, and so you reply to one then switch to the other, etc. Or am I the only one who does that?...
