i don't really think it matters anymore seeing how the boards have been upgraded time and time again

But it's more polite to keep your siggy short so it doesn't cause annoying breaks in the flow of a thread.

My curiosity concerns versified signatures mainly. The poem may be 'sweet and short', but still extend for more than three lines.

I was looking inside the posts, and when left with nothing, assumed you proclaimed my curiosity to be the way to the dark side ...

(not that one may not be occasionally). That occurrence proves signatures do not 'break the flow of posts' - I did overlook one in question
