Aaahhh...I just read the story of the Entwives. Such a sorrowful tale. I wish I could have read about some sort of reunion but alas, it was never to be. The Ents were always such a glint in Tolkien's eye, a race of many long tales, to be sure. I respect and admire them, root and branch. They portray the majesty of the Earth of Middle Earth.
