[QUOTE=Lhunardawen]
Mithalwen: For some strange reason, I have the same mental image of you as mark12_30... But since she mentioned that she and Mister Underhill are twins... Not quite blonde or blue eyed.... motherly? .. have to be in the right mood.... laugh ..not for me to say ![]() Fordim and davem: You are twins in my imagination. Perhaps you should check your family trees. You might be related to each other...and to Tolkien (at least that's how I see it). Oh, and a pipe always comes to mind. I am afraid I do imagine Fordim as Dr Jones ... but in lecturing mode rather than adventuring... so harris tweed and specs rather than desert boots and bullwhip.. Mental image of Davem, utterley destroyed by the information about the Yorkshire accent. Now vaguely imagining Ted Hughes. Boromir88:I can hear the voice but I can't quite see the face...

But not cool enough to know that tweed is back with a vengeance? And the entire output of the weavers is being guzzled by a certain desginer brand
. Hmm I guess it is a less disturbing combo than harris tweed and bullwhip...And why does Indiana's vision suddenly become 20/2o when he is on a mission anyway?

So, I drop the hint about Sean Bean but you'd rather think of me as Ted Hughes (Actually, Brian Blessed was born even closer to me - about 5 miles away. So you can imagine me as an amalgam of all three )

Just had to defend my namesake...My next visionary attempt: Starjewel: As has been said, the word that immediately comes to mind for you is "shiny". You have shimmering, long black hair, that when not cascading down your back, is twisted up into elaborate (and still shiny) curls and braids. Your eyes are bright green, bringing to mind emeralds in twilight. Your skin is pale, but with rosy cheeks, a la Snow White. I always see your lips shining with the help of oddly flavoured lip glosses. You tend to wear simplistic jewelry, not to say that it is not incredible. A single tear-drop shaped diamond hanging 'round your neck, the occasional silver circlet with... you guessed it: a diamond... dangling on your forehead. That sort of idea. Fea

Mithalwen, you've inspired me to plumb new depths of surrealism. Imagine if all that you had to go on in order to play this particular 'game' were three clues:
Someone you sound like, Someone who was born near your birthplace, and Someone who could be said to be 'symbolic' of your county/state? Well, you could conjure up some truly frightening images if you think about it. For me, you might get: Someone you sound like - Caroline Aherne Someone who was born near your birthplace - Marc Almond Someone who could be said to be 'symbolic' of your county/state - Fred Dibnah. I think I shall sleep with the light on tonight, this has frightened me more effectively than any of the vivid imaginings of Bosch, Sam Raimi or Mervyn Peake.

Rimbaud
Rimbaud is a man of average height and build. He doesn't dress fashionably - he dresses perfectly: neatly pressed shirts and slacks, jackets always perfectly fitted and suited in make and hue to the season. He may wear slender gold-framed glasses for reading, but prefers not to. His hair is grey-brown, straight and fashionably not-quite-perfectly-kempt. He always walks at a brisk pace, with an air of confidence, and his face in its natural state is expressionless, save for a subtle glint of thoughtfulness in his grey eyes. He has a charming half-chuckle which he is wont to use when he finds a story or joke half-amusing, but reserves a loud, hearty laugh for the finer jokes and moments shared with friends.

Don't worry, my father is obsessed with Indiana Jones. I don't know how many times i've seen the triology... maybe too much. But, i do like the one where he's in India.ok, how about an elephant?

Boromir88: The color yellow or blue always comes into my mind when i see your name... very strange. Also i see car wheels and a green field. Brown clothing comes to mind, or brownish colors of objects such as walls...
i really don't know why, but that's what i'm seeing. Hope i'm not offending... i don't intend to. ~Third Eye Confusion Ka~

Let's see, who falls into the realm of my imagination next.... Encaitare: I'm not sure on the gender yet (sorry!) so I'll try to make this as neutral as possible. You have much class, with a insane twist to it. When there are people to be found, you immeadiatley turn them into an audience for your unusual yet high grade antics. Unfortuneatly most don't appreciate your talent so your left to captivate your close friends.

Ooh, how I love having people try and describe me!
Quote:
Lalwende-- isn't Sylvia Plath amazing? I just finished reading the Bell Jar. Wonderful book. You're right on the money about me personality-wise! I've never dyed my hair, though; my hair's so light I'm afraid it won't ever wash out. And I've chosen my major! As the glutton for punishment and overachiever that I am, I'm going to double-major in Music Performance and Education. And you're so right about the notebook bit. I love my notebook! Morai-- I'm a she. But you're pretty much correct!Now for you all! I don't really have a clear image of Lhunardawen yet, but the soulful Eowyn of her avatar always makes me think of her that way. However, I think she's said she looks nothing like Eowyn, so that shoots down that theory! I get the impression that Lhun has dabbled in writing, and she's a pretty good artist. Lalwende, contrary to her avatar, does not look like Bilbo Baggins! I imagine her as having a nice cozy little house with lots of pictures on the walls. She has all sorts of unusual books and cool-looking things from museum gift shops and little stores she's discovered covering every flat surface. She always has a couple of candles burning. She likes gardening, and the crunch leaves make beneath her feet in the fall. She loves bright and sunny days, but appreciates the rainy ones too because they give her an excuse to sleep late. Morai's name has a dark sound to it, so I imagine her as a slender girl (apologies if you're male!) with straight, dark brown hair. She's quiet around people she doesn't know, but is loud and funny when she's with her friends. |
