The lyrics posted above are actually for The Missing - this is Eowyn's Lament - which does indeed, as you thought Evisse, hold a line about Meduseld:

(A song shall sing the sorrowing minstrels in Meduseld)

The Rohirric (that is, Anglo-Saxon) is written by David Salo. I'm not sure that he got the alliterative rule quite right, can any scholars help me on this?
