Hi all, I'm Kira, i'm new to LOTR boards. I've been looking at the boards and i don't think i nearly as much about Tolkien etc as some of the people on here...slightly intimidating, but oh well. I blame any ignorance on my youth.

Welcome, Vagabond! Don't be intimidated by the uber-intelligence you see some of our more esteemed members exude. It's not as if they're snobby about it, and don't worry, you'll learn.

Welcome - and yes they are scary - it was about 6 weeks before I found the courage even to suggest an answer to a quiz question but even the scariest ones are very kind and encouraging
