Finrod ... butI am also fond of Beleg ...... though I resent these elves dying at the expense of useless men especially that drippy Beren....
 I liked Idril too - she was a clever girl whose forthought saved many of her people - and to my mind made the best of the Elf/man matches. And she was Elrond's grannie
