I silently watch the competition for the longest thread.

The two competitors are Crazy Captions and Palantir of Fortune.

But it looks like Crazy Captions will still win hands down.

Not exactly merry, I know, but I find it fun to watch.

I was reading through "Do Balrogs Have Wings" when I stumbled upon this gem of a quote from the phantom.

When the suspicious HoME quote is later called a fake, he defends the quote here.

Gave me quite a laugh.
