Speaking of Theoden's horse....
There was one in RotK that my friend and I noticed. It's kinda nasty. At the beginning when they are approaching the Tower of Orthanc (when Treebeard is talking) and Bernard Hill's horse, uh, goes potty in the water. I found it funny when Billy Boyd mentioned something about the horses doing that in the commentary.
