You know you're obsessed when:

You suddenly realise that you cannot actually have a conversation without mentioning something LotR related at least three times

When you meet someone new your first question is - "So, are you a LotR fan?" and if they say no you find yourself wondering how best to initiate them into the world of Tolkien, and all this before even asking their name!

You become insanely jealous of the person who has brought in a ligthsaber because in your head you are imagining it is Anduril.
