I've only time for a brief comment right now. I'll be back in a few hours to elaborate further on what I say below.

And here are my thoughts on how we might identify the Bear. The Bear doesn't mind who is lynched during the Day, as long as it is not him (reference to male pronouns to include the female). So it seems to me that it is in the Bear's interests to stir up suspicion and, as subtly as possible, to throw out a fair few accusations, while trying not to act overtly suspicious himself.
