Then don't lie when you're a wolf, Mith.

When you read my posts in Werewolf X (I was a wolf in that game) you will find that I barely lied at all.

The key is to tell truths that don't lead to the truth.

Just to remind you all of Estelyn's post #16 here, 10-10-2005:

When?

Phantom, sweetheart, this may be a kick in the Shire for your ego but I do not eagerly devour every word you write . The mainstream WW games have become so Dickensian in length that I have stopped trying to follow them completely - I just dip in. I see the page number increase, and daunted, sigh and flip to crazy captions which suit my attention span better. The thoughts of Chairman Phantom are therefore not going to be top of my reading list. However, I did happen to glance at the aforementioned memoirs of a blood-hunting wolf before my essai at lycanthropy. So my failure is all your fault ......

Well, I imagine most of your problems in life, Werewolf and other, can be attributed to that.

Such lack of interest in my words indicates a deep seated resentment of wisdom and demonstrates a lack of good taste.

Oh, I've tried, I really have- but no matter how hard I try I just can't wish away my feelings for myself. That's part of being in love.

Not to mention, if I succeeded in "getting over myself", I wouldn't be the phantom anymore. That's like asking Tom Bombadil to stop singing silly songs.

And, while I am here, I thought I'd mention that my Dream Team village in WW XII lived up to my expectations. I really did enjoy watching the action each day. Great performances all around- worthy of Dream Team consideration from top to bottom.

Firefoot has been trapped in the Barrow!
Here goes:

Mod: phantom - Need I say more? It's a close race between playing with him and having him mod, though...

Wolves:

Myself - If I could pick for myself a role this would be it. Ever since the first game *refuses to go off on a tangent* I've wanted to have another shot at this role. I can't say how good I'd be at it, but if voting records are any kind of indication I could last quite a while - apparently I'm not a terribly suspicious person, as I've never been lynched since WWI.

Fea - Fea has proven herself to be very good at this role, and besides, I'd rather have her on my side. For once I'd know what the heck she's playing at. Besides, I think people have gotten to a point where they mostly suspect her for being her, rather than for reasons.

Oromin - She's a great quiet wolf to have around.

Seer: Boromir88 - now he'd be a powerful enemy. His performance in IIX was superb.

Ranger: Morm - he's a very astute player, I think he could play this role well. He may even make a save. (Am I the only one who's ever done that? I haven't paid much attention to the recent games.)

Hunter: Eomer - I think his performance in XII speaks for itself.

Cursed: Nilpaurion - I'd love to see him pull off that switch.

Others:

Saucepan - what's a game without SpM?
Fordim - I rather miss having him around. A great loudmouth, full of stretegies.
Kath - A game just doesn't seem quite complete without her.
Kitanna - Same as Kath. Another great backbone player
LMP - Another great player to have around...
TORE - If there was a cobbler, he'd be it, but otherwise a great player.
Esty - played brilliantly in XII.
Kuru - It's been too long since I've played in a game with him.
Gurthang - Another great player - and if I had a bear he'd be it.

There are definitely people I've left out here, sadly - I wish I could include about ten more. I also wish I knew more about some of the players who have only played in games IX and following, since I don't know anything about most of you except for some hearsay.

Actually, there's a good chance you still would have no idea what I was doing. Unless Day PMs were allowed, in which case I'd keep you up to date with my most recent random plan of self-serving. Actually, I'm thinking I'd most prefer the role of Bear. I don't remember who gave me it, but boy would that be my favorite game. It very much appeals to my sense of the universe revolving around me. Not having to work with people... "If you want something done right, do it yourself." It would be a lark, casting suspicion on everyone, wolf and villager alike, and playing solely for my own amusement. Cough... wait... I think I might already do that. That's probably not good.

I made one (almost two... *kicks self*) in Glirdy's WWJI.

My dream team... is still the same as it was before. Only I'd like to add Underhill to it as a wolf. I know I already have three wolves on my dream team... but we ended up with four in Mith's game. It could happen again. And I rather think he'd make an incredible bad guy.

*Ahem* I'll accept the credit.

I think I'll take partial credit for this too, I have an obsession to reply to everything said. Basically I'm saying I like the chatty games. It's no fun when everyone just drags their feet.

Well, I must say it's extremely flattering to make Dream Teams after just one game.

I take this as high praise indeed, coming from a player with your reputation. I fancy I might make a good run as a villager of the lupine persuasion.
