On Snape:
I think Dumbledore knew he was going to have to die. This isn't going to be his fight, but he's got to clear the way for Harry and make one last sacrifice for the cause. I think Snape swore the oath with Dumbledore's blessing. But that's just me. Now, this from Cailin: Quote:
