What? Is this WWF Smackdown? I thought it was Survivor, a witty game of clever positioning and argumentative fun.

Shall I have to entirely rethink all my strategies henceforth? Does Bethberry have to become Da Big Double B? Will Diamond have to become Di-Hard? Will we see Big Mac? Morm the Marauder? Will we need a PanHandler?

I don't think so . . .

Gandalf the Wizard is the character voted off today.

Gandalf stood, and with one last uncloaking, to the discust (not the surprise) of all those present, he walked away proudly, with black squares covering certain places, since this is a family friendly site.

Thus ends this day!

Let me see here. We have two humans, one Vala, one Eagle, one Elf, two Dragons, one of whatever Goldberry is, and, oh dear, no less than THREE Dwarves. At least one of those Dwarves has got to go, so...

Gimli has committed and offense so agregious that it really should be punished by death, the least we can do is evict him. What did he do you ask? Why he befriended and Elf and there is no greater crime in all of dwarven society than that.

In Dwarvin society yes. Therefore, I encourage all dwarves to take up your cause.

As it is, it looks like your trying to punish Gimli for trying to redress years of strife between the two races, a noble enough effort. Or in other words: You're promoting racism, morm. O_O

Now of course Gimli isn't perfect & there are probably many reasons why he should be voted off but surely not this one!

Therefore, since I'm with Menel more or less in his reasoning of evening up the scores:

++ Gloin

Being the son of Groin (inventor of the mithril cup) is a tough act to follow, but he's less deserving of a spot on the island than Gimli is.

He's boring, has no character really (except for starting fires, which, may I add, he and his brother failed miserably at!) and is far worse than Gimli.
