Well, the left, right part is of course reffering to feet.
Iron is used for weapons aka death and for making tools. The last part I could never figure out, that is why I did not guess the first time.

I saw my master, but not his successor. You can see my prey, but only ab the domen. sounds goofy, but pretty easy.
