As she spoke she had continued to gather her things - the medicinal herbs and dressings she had used to treat the injured, as well as her personal possessions - and pack them into her saddlebags.

"I need to get Leif ready and the others seem set to leave soon... do you want to give me a hand ?". She gestured towards where the great grey horse was tethered in the shade of the trees, idly flicking flies away with his tail. His saddle was propped against a trunk under a cloth. She stood with a weary elegance , picked up her saddlebags and let Léoflic fall into step beside her as she walked over to her horse.
