About the edit button...
When one submits a reply and then immediately hits the edit button (for whatever reason), it doesn't register therefore there is no edit time, date at the bottom. I don't know the exact number of seconds that it does that.
Just to clarify, because I'm a dorkfish

I think it doesn't register if you manage to edit it within the same minute you posted.

Anyway, I will probably be quite short on time tomorrow and have to vote pretty early (5 gmt).

Holby and Mac are right, you tend to have about a minute's grace before the little edit bit turns up.

I guess that my argument that there was no "edit" little label after my post does not count, but I STILL am not a cheater.

Having said that, I'm afraid that today of all days will be very hard for me to post... I'll try to keep up with the reading and get a vote in though I don't know when.
