![]() The way I see it Peter Jackson made my favourite book into a spectacular and thought provoking movie, the greatest movie of all time in my view, he worked for many years and sacrificed much but eventually the movies got made. Unfortunately some were not satisfied were they? Where was Bombadil? Why did Faramir not act as he did in the book? Why did Frodo enter Shelob's Lair alone? Now, I do not wish to disregard these concerns but many of said concerns have been stated in a snide and holier-than-thou manner which I can not accept. Wasn't it enough that the movies were made? That the cast and crew spent so much time and effort trying to please us? Does that mean nothing? And so, when I think of the movies I always think of the word "ingrattitude". Again, I'm not naming names and I trust you all to draw your own conclusions.
