Sorry Valier, but Legate is right
The Elessar had the light of the Sun trapped within it, and those who looked through it were said to see the withered or aged as whole and young again. It was even claimed to have some power of healing. Now we are talking mostly about the first Elessar, the one that greater power, since the second one given to Aragorn was also made by Celebrimbor but it was not as good as the first.

well, I did, in the beginning
but after I reminded of the events in The Hobbit I was pretty sure it was Bilbo The name of this land comes from a terrible cry
