My thoughts:

Protector: Not so good. Doesn't really benefit the village a whole lot, as somebody still dies.

Twins: I don't have a whole lot of experience with the Lovers concept, so I can't really say much.

Double lynchings: Don't really mind them, but if they're to be banned, I'd have the victim be chosen randomly between the top vote-getters. That should be fun.
