hmmm...my plan didn't really work, and because I was used to going to bed so late I wasn't able to sleep much last night (3 hours) resulting in a not very nice first day of school...but I guess I'll eventually have to get used to it

Lol, I know what you mean. I'm sure you will get back into the swing of things, though it helps if you have an interesting timetable for the day. There is nothing worse at times then being extremely tired, stuck at the front of the class being spoken too about various effects of globalisation for example, or the 'ins and outs' of primacy, or the fourth lecture on deuterosomes..
How was your timetable that day?

it was ok
since we wrote our tests right before getting our holiday we didn't get them back last year so today we didn't do much, just got our marks and the tests...
I was personally satisfied with my results

but I know what you mean...some classes are ok, but sometimes, like in German, I feel like falling asleep

but I'm sure the late hour visits on the Barrow-Downs will soon disappear (unfortunately) and everything will go back to normal...

Ah yes, the best start to the term, marks. Mhm, I should be getting some marks back, however the majority of our exams are in just over a weeks time. The old semester exams being at the start of the new...

Do you get to Downs much after school starts, or is it all time-consuming?

Me, I'm home schooled. It's HARD! Unbelievably so, at times, to get stuff done when you're the one motivating yourself. Way too easy to slack off without structure. So I can Downs any time I like, but often when I should be doing "better" things.

I used to stay up late doing schoolwork because I found my mind worked best at those times. Guilt-free night-owling, I suppose.

I am writing from school actually right now.

And yeah, school is now going to be fairly time comsuming since this is my last semester of highschool followed by the exams in about 3 and a half months. But I am sure I'll have enough time for Downsing...
