I think Peter Weir would be fantastic (andI would prefer him to do "The Lovely Bones" too. I feel he has a particular interest in enclosed communities - and their interraction or failure to interract with the wider world - not only Witness which is one of the best films I have ever seen, Dead Poets Society, and Picnic at Hanging Rock.
