Any Downs member who wishes to post. I had imagined that birthdays would provide the prime motivation, but it need not be limited to natal days. Someone might, for instance, be tempted to roast your pink hair, but I see that alatar and Hookbill have already undertaken on the photo thread the kind of affectionate and gentle teasing that I envisioned for this thread. After all, this forum is for emulating Tolkien's taste.

EDIT: Although, as Morthoron has offerred, I suppose there could be generic fun in simply writing the epithets without offering them to any Downer in particular. I do like the way he has invoked Tolkien in the coining of new words.

My failure to post on this thread, Bêthberry, is due to my usual confusion as to your purpose and meaning, as you use all of those etymologicalistical nightmarish (or knightmarish) words pretzeled in grammatical guttations that continually have this simple man reaching for his virtual dictionary, compass (both meanings, of course), graph paper and set of coloured pens. I've also consulted tea leaves, crystals and chicken bones (after dinner) as their delphic deciphercations are as about as useful as all that science I don't understand - it's just my job five days a week.

Er...what was I talking about?

Oh, and I effect no affectations.

If all of that makes no sense - but sounds like something that should...well, welcome to my world.

I don't know you well enough to insult you with epithets of such magnitude. From the few posts I've read of yours, I could probably only muster something simpler, along the lines of: "A lupine lollygagger predisposed to overt acts of syllabicide."

But as I don't know you, then I certainly wouldn't post it.
