Aragorn_the_Ranger has just left Hobbiton.

So a lot of time has passed since I last graced these pages with my updates on my book. I have finished all genealogical trees and I have now started on my favorite race. The Ents. The thing that inspired me to research these delicate yet remarkably strong creatures is their look on life and their sad and unknown history. A re-reading of the “Two Towers” chapter ‘Treebeard’ has opened my mind to a lot of different things. I think now that I have actually discovered the actual distance that Entstrides are measured in. Unfortunately I am not one for maps and I have not yet been able to put my theory down properly. If anyone has any experience with maps could you please contact me so I can figure it out properly?

Another theory that I have (not based on the Ents though) is in the chapter “The Uruk-hai” the orcs give Merry and Pippin a drink. A hot liquid and revitalizing yet disgusting drink which I believe is to be a type of Whisky or Moonshine, though I will delve into that more when I start the next book on “Orcs and other terrible creatures”.

One thing that I have forgotten about is illustrations. That is why I bring it to you artist Downers that have a couple of non-used black and white sketches of non-characters from Middle-Earth (i.e. Ents! Orcs, Riders of Rohan, Gondorians, Hobbits etc, etc)

Cya's all later
