i am confused about the stage rules, when i went to the game thread everyone was posting... and the way i understand the stage-rules that only certain people post during the day... so now i am lost and being branded quiet in the game....

Gil, plainly and simply: yesterDay it was Day 0.0, when all people posted and you and several others did not show up. Now there is the first of the Stage Days, when only me and two other people are posting, you have probably a PM from Volo when your Stage Day is (just don't tell us! That's supposed to be a secret only you know!).

And you can delete your post in the game thread. That's our Day now.

It's a gladiator setting, Gil. Day 0.0 we all discussed and debated. Now the fights begin. Each 24 hour period has three people (a gifted, a wolf, and an ordo) who can post and vote, but only for each other. No one one knows anyone else's role, including the wolves. Your day has been assigned already. There are 7 of these battles for 21 players. At the end of these battles, we have a village of 14 and depending on what happened in the arena, we could have anywhere from 1-7 wolves, 1-7 gifteds, and 1-7 ordos.

Today the match up is between Legate, Menel, and Valier. In less than an hour, that battle will end with a lynch (we won't know the role of the dead) and the next battle begins between three new players who have already been assigned.

Does that help?

Plus the night inbetween. Which, then the wolves will know who each other is, while specials and ordos will not. Same old rules apply, just this time there are only three players a day and the rest of us watch and wait. Plus, hoping we are not killed off during the night.

To clarify, Ka, there's no Night between the individual battles, but there will be a Night phase after the end of the 7th battle. I assume at that point the "host" will be the starting wolf kill, the people who get to dream/hunt/whatever can do so, and the wolves meet and come up with a strategy, and game play will continue as normal.

Just kidding... He has an enjoyable writing style, and his 'teleportation' was rather good too, for which I'll have to pass a tip of the hat to Volo.

Weremoose Found

I was bored today, and had extra time on my hands...

So I decided to spend time with my brother for once, so we watched his favourite television show for a bit.

Forgot the name of it, but I saw a moose-creature that reminded me of Menel's, which led to me laughing and saying, 'The weremoose!!!'
Surprisingly enough, this moose also had a bad temper towards hunters. Hmm.

So here you are Menel, your weremoose:

Enjoy.

Nice find. What exactly was this moose doing, anyway?

One of the characters from the show tried to eat its offspring, and then ended up stuck in a rock crevice. Offspring then decided in new found freedom to bring the character an apple, which depending on how you see it, could or could not be a tactic to keep the character there with 'bait' until parent creature arrived.
Then another character that had special powers or something, tried to free the hunter character, with little success as the parent creature tried to kill and eat both of them. It just ended up 'scaring off' both the weremoose and little weremoose.

I think the screenwriters could have done more with the weremoose attack, frankly. I expected more entertainment.
It was all very amusing. Though, the offspring was rather adorable for a time.

Though, I've actually eaten moose before and it does taste particularly nice, sort of like ostrich or buffalo, but reindeer is far better.
