Pippin or Merry: Who is better? - The Barrow-Downs Discussion Forum

Well, without considerable thought I would say Pippin, I saw pictures of Billy/Pippin and Dominic/Merry before I read the books so I have always thought of them as looking like that, but that is really quite unfair as I am a hopeless romantic who thinks that Billy Boyd is good-looking. The characters of Pippin and Merry all by themselves well, hmm...I would say I like them both, but perhaps Pippin a little more so for absolutely no good reason. Merry was the one who helped slay the witch King, but still.

Pippin definately has the most likable character out of the two.

You can't say that you are a more of a hopeless romantic and I Lauri, because you know me!

But oh man I agree with Lauri, Pip is the best!
