It does look like a crystal version of Orthanc, a bit. Very attractive.

By the way, I believe Orthanc was built by the Numenorians when they first established their kingdoms in Gondor and Arnor. It's located between the two.

Partly it was shaped in the making of the mountains, but mighty works the Men of Westernesse had wrought there of old;

There stood a tower of marvellous shape. It was fashioned by the builders of old, who smoothed the Ring of Isengard, and yet it seemed a thing not made by the craft of Men . . .
