I have a little blue star that a fortune-teller gave me hanging on my rearview mirror. The other day, I picked a friend up to go to dinner, and as we were pulling out of his driveway, he caught the star in his hand and said, "this is pretty."
To which I immediately replied: "Isn't it? It's the light of Earendil!"
...My friend just stared at me for the remainder of our drive.
