Go on a general interest forum and you'll see a dozen threads a day entitled with helpful things like "Help! Quick!" or "Do you know..." etc. It generally turns out to be someone wanting to know the number of a shop that they could have got out of Yellow Pages...

Why Geneologies? - Because stick figure drawings just aren't as informative.
