Let me chime in here with the moderator's preference for Valier being gone -

If in the next week you cannot get in touch with Valier, then please go ahead and carry Bunny as an NPC. This is well within the rules for the RPG forums.

You can either go ahead with the story by consensus or have someone assume the game facilitator role.
