Hobbit: An orange cover with Michael Hague's illustration of Smaug.
Lord of the Rings. I have the single volume Centeniary edition. Alan Lee's illustration of the Black Gate is on the dust jacket, the cover itself is brown with the Tolkien symbol imprinted in gold.
