That's what many people say. Clearly they haven't heard any songs by Orplid. German is definitely one of my favourite languages. I love its structure. The sentences are like works of art.

Nienna is a very operatic vala.

Agan.. don't tempt me .. I stil have the last bit of the intro to do and I am so cold - I do think it would be a shame. I suppose it could continue with another moderator. Does the song die with the singer? The game with the moddess? To philosophical for me...easier to say I might truly show you the meaning of being a prima donna and delete the thread in a fit of pique.

Ring Screeeeeeeech!

I'm here, though I don't have a whole lot to say. I wouldn't vote out the tricksy ones, devious though they may be. And our good phantom hasn't really said much yet, so there's nothing to go on for him either.

Edit: x'ed with the phantom

Says who? I mean the "actually playing" part... Are we now a bit too eager to show up our qualities as a decent player who has as his goal the elimination of the critics so that everyone could sing as bad as they wished? Have you Gwath started actually playing and what is your game?

Nice manouvres Fea! I did enjoy them. But then again that's the very same with everyone and everytime. The trick is to know when it's option b) rather than option a). And yes, one can get mad trying to come to a fair consideration about these...

Boro and Agan: hush you mediocrities! Talking about insignificant cartoons in the temple of real art!

Giving up? Of course not. It was a mere ploy.

You see, if I, as a wolf, confess my wolvery on the very first day, people will think, "She must not be a wolf. She wouldn't do that [again]."

I add 'again' because I've, of course, done the exact thing in the past.

Which would then prompt people to counter with, "Of course if Fea was a wolf she'd tell us. She knows we're just going to lynch her anyway. Why should she hide it when she's insane, and nobody listens to what she's saying anyway?"

And then people would pause, and they would say, "So obviously Fea both would and would not reveal her role as a wolf, if indeed she is a wolf, which she both is and, obviously, isn't, because she wouldn't want people to point out that she's done both - and neither - in the past (and future) so we should all just assume that it's the first day and she really doesn't care what anybody says, because none of it matters before the wolves get a kill in (apart from Seer dreams, which aren't going to be revealed yet for obvious reasons)."

And I shall be ignored.

Here's what we know.

Gwath- He we be unjustly lynched Day 3.
Nogrod- He will help me catch the Critics.
Cailineomer- She/he will be killed without leaving a trace Night 4.
Fea- She's up to something. Just don't know what. Yet.
Lariren- Under my protection until Day 3.
Boro88- I'm not allowed to talk about him after last game.
Agan- A critic. But will flatter me to avoid my wrath.
Sally- Innocent, but will consistently lynch the wrong people.

Opera: Mithalwen's Village
Night 1, scene 1

*cue music*

Seer sings:
And do I dream again, for now I find
the phantom of the Barrow-Downs is there
And he is an Ordo!

Yeah. We all know that's what happened last night. And I know people will be mad that I'm assuming that. But really. Come on. You know it's true.

Hi Menel. What about voting you out so I can get all the baddie roles?

Don't worry Gwath, thus far phantom is the only one who assumes he was dreamt of. No one is going to take his innocence for granted even if the seer comes and tells he's innocent.

Menel - Why not drive out tricksy headache-maker? Someone must die. We know not who is critic. Ergo, it best to kill tricksy folk. They as likely as anyone to be critic, but if not, at least townsfolk remove headache. Townsfolk then can think clear.

Well, I must admit the only reason I was so certain was not the confession, but because I seen your trickery on Night 1. That was Mith's last game, and lookie we have a confession in Mith's next game!

There are two drastic differences however. Last confession in Mith's game you incriminated Kuru with an "I love you." Here you have simultaneously incriminated everyone with a "hugs all around." Also, that time I was the seer, this time I'm not, and thus I deduce you made a fake confession.

What dazzling intellect, eh?

Thinking about a triple-quaduplet lynch may get you mod-fired, and if I were in such a lynch you'd definitely be mod-fired.

Hmm - there's a plan, everyone tries really hard to get mod-fired

Oh, hello Aganzir.

Come now, who between us would be the best baddie anyhow, a human from the White City or someone who can drive people to mass panic by screeching?

And as for the guy who be tarzan, I suggest he take a bath. But to be honest, yes, some of the crazies could stand to be more helpful. Talk of triple-lynching can be risky, even as a joke. Thankfully, we wraiths lack a sense of humor.

Since I have done my intro please read and remember you are contestants not townsfolk darlings.... and you may wish to bear in mind that I share Rossini's opinion of Wagner.. (whoever he will be in several ages of ME) Hojotoho! However Nienna is a kind of Valkyrie - I guess...

Three people that I currently refuse to lynch no matter the circumstances:

Agan: for even mentioning Great Mouse Detective
Boro: for knowing the movie AND for mentioning Tim Curry (he SHOULD have done the voice, by the way, he's amazing!!)
Phantom: for getting Phantom (of the Opera) stuck in my head

In other news, I'm now off to work. When I get back I'm going to have to put in Phantom of the Opera (followed by various other musicals) and read posts.

And so....

Wild Man make boo-boo. Great Mother-Goddess extent deadline. Ergo, real deadline now little under two man-hour away.

Wild Man make following thought process:

Not vote gollum, for not know him. Not know if quiet is normal. Kill him may waste ordinary life.

Not vote Fea. Appetite for lynch Fea small. Therefore vote waste.

Therefore Wild Man say to self: vote Kath!

Now Kath come. Kath say she post again perhaps. Therefore cannot yet vote Kath.

Indeed. Wild Man think only Menel die.

However, Wild Man incline think this good overall. Not hurt village too much in early stage. Much more helpful when examine vote record. Also, face it, people find reason lynch Nogrod eventually whatever happen.

Hi all. Sorry to come in so late.

Read through the posts thusfar and I have nothing substantive to add other than the fact that I am sufficiently scared of every single one of you.

So if anyone needs me I'll be playing medieval total war inside the prompt box, because, frankly, isn't anyone's time well spent reconquista-ing the reconquista? I'll be back once the Iberian peninsula is mine.

Making the point that a triple lynch (anyway we only can make a double-lynch) might be risky... hmmm... to whom at this point? For the critics themselves I think... one lynch and we probably end up with a fine and innocent singer toDay; a double lynch... the odds to bring down a critic get better... or at least the critics should have more to fear at this early hour if that option is open.

Anyway: confessedly lacking a sense of humour? A well known trait of music-critics over the whole wide world. Artists have fun, critics are grumpy, everyone knows that.

An ironic question, and one which does not follow very closely from the post in view. Nogrod attempts to make himself look good by accusing me of trying to make myself look good. Nice try.
Accusing? Aren't we a wee bit touchy now?
*not an accusation, a question...*

Going to sleep now... you know the voice needs some rest.

But I can't resist the fitting ending for my part at this time, noticing Mith's comments on backing Rossini.

So let me end up with a part from "Guillaume Tell".

So let's be careful out there that we don't get a twisted wagon rolling with innocent eyes looking at the arrow of death to the eye.

The two are by no means mutually exclusive. A question can be used to state one's opinion quite as easily as any other form of sentence, and your question had distinct accusatory overtones. Whether or not I was being touchy is a matter of perspective, however, and you can't please everyone.

Hmm... This is the first game where I've actually been scared of the Cobbler.

He'll dream of the gifteds and tell the Werewolves. He has true power. He's not just a suicidal distraction.

I'm currently thinking through things he could do. There are some interesting possibilities. I've thought of one devious ploy he could run, but I'd rather wait and look for it as opposed to announce it ahead of time. Anyway... just thinking out loud here.
