Hey everyone! Wow... it has been way too long since I've been on this site... all the people I used to talk to have stopped posting! Anyways - that was beside the point - I was wondering if anyone has gotten any killer deals on items since Lord of the Rings hype has died off in the real world? It's sad that the majority of them have moved on but I'm glad there is still a fairly large group of us who haven't (nor is ever likely to

Oh, I forgot! My mom purchased an edition of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, which Tolkien edited, off Amazon. I can't wait to read his interpretation of the original Middle English. At the moment though, I'm still working through my collection of T.S. Eliot poems.

illustrations is quite good, far more
"accurate" and interesting then
the current movie Calendars.

I am wishing I had purchased LOTR Risk, and maybe LOTR Monopoly, or some of the other spinoffs. But they seem to have largely disappeared. ANyone seen LOTR Risk cheap lately?

INstead I ended up with LOTR Trivial Pursuit and LOTR Backgammon.

Just check out eBay (the world's garage sale.) You can find LOTR Stratego there easily. I checked two days ago. There were two auctions and one did not even sell. You could probably pick one up for less than original price if you're patient.

I wish I had picked up LOTR Risk and Trival Pursuit - but I did pick up LOTR Monopoly and checkers when it was around. It looks like we each have one thing the other doesn't mark12_30 :-)
