What do you "assign" to the Shire? - The Barrow-Downs Discussion Forum

I assign to the Shire being away for a long time, only to return and be amazed by and nostalgic of the topics presented here. and the unique smileys I havent found anywhere else

Ooh, now I can assign Ninja coming back (and Legate being funnily enthusiastic

But I also want to assign February, it's always been one of my favourite months. It's all snow and sunshine (and having my birthday there does not make it any worse

).

Yeah seconded. This morning was one of the most beautiful I've seen in ages. I stepped out of the door and it was very cold and very white - snow and mist everywhere, early sunlight barely reaching the ground.

I assign the month of February to the shire. So many historical figures are born in this month. It seems that everyday that I wake up I remember that it's some great president, soldier's, or statesman's birthday. Gotta love it!

Yep, even if it doesn't snow here, February is my favorite month of the year. Half of it is very cold, for tropical standards at least, and by Valentines the summer winds start blowing with the waning cold winds.

Family rodeo's, or just family reunions in general. Nothing beats having family scattered across the country come to together to enjoy some good games, good food, good company, and beautiful Texas nights!

It makes up for one spectacular night!
