It's because it was in Harry Potter.  That was actually their grounds for getting rid of the chess club!  Four parents called thinking chess and wizards chess were the same thing.   [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img] Another reason was because people were gambling on it, which is also no grounds for banning.  Anyone could bet on anything.  I could bet on the outcome of a school football game, but I can promise you that they wouldn't ban that.  Idiots.
