I have never played this kind of game before, but I can see the mechanics. This game will start after this warm-up when there are something like 5-8 contestants left and all of us will have strong feelings on one or two of them. *looking forwards to it*

So in the meantime to get forwards: hurt Sauron, heal Boromir

One variant rule might be to some time have two
hurts and one heal per selection. That would lead to a
finite time for an elimination (with a momentum
sort of like musical chairs).
