And really. I have not been lurking back there all the time just to come in with the decisive moment but when I saw the situation a few minutes ago I had to hang around to see it to the end.

You know I was really crossing fingers who would come next if I decided to hurt Melian and not to heal Maedhros, but when I saw tp would be four votes away I counted on him to make the day - and he did!

I can say that after Turin and Huan, Maedhros is who I wanted to win and Melian would have been fourth so I'm fairly happy, but you Turin haters should be ashamed.

Don't get me wrong though. I think Melian is great. But she's a bit too good compared to Maedhros. Maedhros has an edge to him - a fault that makes him much more interesting as a character...

I generally like the flawed characters too - and, for the record, didn't hurt Turin because of his tragic flaws, if you will, but because I just find him... creepy, somehow. (And this from a Grima fan...)
