Cowards! Each and every one of you are blooming cowards! How dare you strike down such a noble and good hobbit as Master Samwise, why he never did harm to a soul and enriched all hobbits, dwarves, man, and elves, all the free people of Middle-earth and you haven't the decency to allow him the dignity his station deserves. Did he ask anything of anybody? Nay, and yet he gave so much of himself, more I daresay than any that lived in Middle-earth. All of you should be ashamed and know that there is a strong mark against your honor.

Master Mormegil, I believe I explained myself plainly enough. To have Sam linger after the two most important people in his life are dead is the utmost in cruelty (he contemplated suicide when he thought Frodo was a goner, remember?).

As far as I am concerned, a vote against Rosie or Frodo is a vote against Sam.
