Oh I didn't mean to make you feel under pressure to return! I will perhaps post at least to "tidy up" the twins a bit, and maybe the new players will be able to introduce their characters but I don't imagine we will get too far ahead of you!

I don't feel under pressure. I just wanted to stay that just because I'm the innkeeper, no one has to wait for me.

Thank you Mithalwen for allowing me and others to describe our characters. Gaurcrist is an elf, who is a scholar and has written books such as "The Evil of Sauron". Gaurcrist also would like to fight, but is restricted from this by his father.

Hi Gaurcrist! Oh goodness, I have no authority here, I am just hoping to encourage a little activity!

Folwren is the Innkeeper who is very helpful at integrating new arrivals and is responsible for moving time on and so on which is why I hope we will have her input once she has time - I wasn't a teacher for very long but I can't get out of the habit of being perhaps over concerned with peoples exams

Need less to say I wasn't always so conscientious with my own... I'll stop fussing now Foley I promise!

Since you are a new arrival to the downs as well as the Perch, I suggest you take a look at the first dozen posts at the beginning of the thread and get an idea of the set up. You will also find a full character description for your character which Piosenniel will link to with the others. This fuller description will help other characters to interact with yours more easily since they will know what you look like and if you come from the same place which may affect how they respond.. For example an elf from Rivendell is unlikely to be a complete stranger to another Rivendell elf - the community is too small and the lives are too long - they would be bound to know each other by sight at least, whereas two individuals from Rohan might easily be total strangers to each other.

WEAPONS: Steel long sword, longbow, leather armour

APPEARANCE: "They were a race high and beautiful, the older Children of the world, and among them the Eldar were as Kings, who now are gone: the People of the Great Journey, the People of the Stars. They were tall, fair of skin and grey-eyed, though their locks were dark, save in the golden house of Finrod; and their voices had more melodies than any mortal voice that is now heard . . .” His hair colour is blond, his leg muscles well developed as well as his arms, though more-so on his right arm, and he has a strong torso. His clothing consists of common brown trousers and a white shirt.

PERSONALITY/STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES: Strong with bow, weak hand to hand, wise, good at talking, good at running.

HISTORY: Has a father who is a hunter and a nomad, travelled with him.
